Our Vision and Values
What to expect
If you have never had an IV drip or integrative medicine before you may be wondering what to expect. Here is some information about your session.
Before any session commences our qualified medical team will contact you for a consultation. This may be done face to face or over the phone depending on the therapy requested. Options and advice will be given to ensure you are getting the therapy that's right for you. A brief medical history will be performed at this time. If you have a current diagnosis a copy will be needed along with a list of supplements, medications and any protocols in place.
Our premises are based in Rochdale clinic where our team will ensure that you are comfortable and talk your through appointment steps. Depending on the therapy selected the appointment time will vary. Sessions can take just a few minutes, or some IV therapy drips can take an hour or more.
After your session is complete your clinician will advise on immediate care of the area for the next few days. You may be provided with an aftercare leaflet with ongoing instructions. A follow up appointment will be scheduled where necessary and further check ups can be scheduled for an additional fee.
Integrative medicine is a healthcare approach that combines conventional Western medicine with complementary and alternative therapies. The goal is to address the whole person - mind, body, and spirit - and to treat the root causes of illness, rather than just the symptoms. Integrative medicine may include a variety of therapies, including acupuncture, massage, herbal remedies, mindfulness, and nutrition.
Integrative practitioners work collaboratively with patients to create a personalized treatment plan that best meets health needs. Integrative medicine has gained popularity in recent years, as patients seek more holistic and patient-centered approaches to healthcare. It emphasizes the importance of prevention and self-care in maintaining optimal health and may be used as a complementary service to support prescribed or other recommended medical treatments.
Functional medicine is an approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease. Functional practitioners aim to understand the unique genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that contribute to a patient's health challenges. This approach often involves a combination of approaches, including nutrition, lifestyle changes, and other therapies.
By taking a more holistic view of the patient, functional medicine practitioners are able to develop personalized treatment plans that address the underlying causes of illness, rather than simply masking symptoms with medication. Functional medicine is gaining popularity as a patient-centered and preventative approach to healthcare.
